Suzanne Croteau came to the practice of medicine appreciating the holistic approach to health care. She earned a B.A. degree in Justice and the Social Order in 1976, then worked as an ERA organizer and in the domestic violence movement before deciding to switch focus from societal to personal health. She graduated in 1990 from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her Family Practice residency at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, and achieved Board Certification in Family Practice. She had a traditional practice in Xenia from 1994-98 while completing professional training in homeopathy through the International Foundation for Homeopathy in Seattle, WA. In 1999, she opened her Homeopathic Osteopathic Family Practice in Yellow Springs, and worked with the Ohio Wellness Center in Xenia for several years, directing their Chelation Clinic. Her current holistic practice is in Beavercreek Township.
Dr. Croteau is a past President of the Ohio State Homeopathic Medical Society, serves on the board of the Physician’s Charitable Foundation of the Miami Valley, and is a member of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Physicians Association. She obtained her “Certificate to Recommend” medical marijuana from the State of Ohio in July 2018.
