YPOC is holding a free kids movie screening of this classic coming of age story of a family of black sharecroppers in the Depression-era South. After the screening, Y POC mentors will moderate a discussion on the movie's depiction of the challenges of race, poverty and education. Open to all kids and their parents. Space is limited.
